PSA: Maximum Announce Interval

To everyone running nodes that announce more than once every 10 minutes, please know that in almost every case (even mobile nodes) doing so is unnecessary and creates issues for the other people using the testnet, especially over LoRa.
It would be very helpful if you would please limit your announces to a maximum of once every 10 minutes (set using 'announce_interval' in the NomadNetwork config).

Note: In the future there will likely be some abuse prevention measures (i.e. announce ratelimits) to prevent this.
Good PSA! Can confirm :) Seriously, for static nodes, you just need to announce once every day or so. If you're really paranoid that people can't find you, drop it down to every 8 hours or something.
Since practically the entire testnet have recursive path resolution enabled, everyone can always just resolve paths to your destinations immediately anyway.
after your comment, I checked my nomadnet (as service in daemon mode) config and it was 30' :-(

I think that time is in minutes? It should be ok at 30 🤔
